What even is creatine? Well, it's an amino acid, but it isn't actually used to make protein. It's found 100% naturally in foods like beef, pork and fish, and you know what else? You also make it in your own body. That's right. You're making it right now, as you're watching this video, while you're looking at me. Disgusting. Yep, that terrible steroid. It's not that your mother is terrified of you getting hooked on is made in the cells of your own body every day. So creatine is a completely normal and healthy part of your metabolism, not some weird artificial substance that has been discovered in a lab by scientists hoping to make super soldiers like I mentioned, as animals produce it in their cells. Creatine is found in animal muscle, and that's why meat eaters tend to have higher levels of muscle creatine than vegans. However, I wouldn't recommend using meat as your primary source of creatine. And that's because to get the same amount of creatine as you'd get in one little scoop of creatine monohydrate powder, you'd need to eat almost 1.3 kilogrammes of beef. Not only does that come with a lot of extra calories, about 1500 calories if you use lean beef, it's also stupidly expensive. That's why creatine supplements can be so beneficial. In fact, continuous supplementation can increase the amount of creatine in your muscles by 20 to 40%.

Creatine is found naturally in the body, but it's important to stay hydrated when supplementing with creatine monohydrate powder.

Goes down easy
Great supplement. Easy to add to a shake. Can’t detect it at all. Which in my book, makes it 5 stars. Haven’t noticed a difference yet in its effect but only been on it a couple weeks. Lots of studies showing it’s effective though :-)

Does the job
Does the job, unflavoured so literally doesn’t taste of anything. I mix it with either my protein shake or just with water or juice. It’s not gritty or sandy
