4have used inulin for some months now after watching a programme on tv about health it is supposed to help you lose weight around internal organs allowing them to function better no evidence to support this but I believe along with a proper diet and exercise which I now follow this product has helping me to reach my target weight and fitness level Goes Well With:smoothies, hot drinks, porridge

5Love this stuff use it to boost my fibre intake and helps me not over eat, it naturally has a very subtle sweet taste so I just mix it with water and it's perfectly fineGoes Well With:Water, any other liquid will do too as the taste isn't strong so will go with anything

5Been taking inulin for several years daily helps with IBS, I also use it to sweeten fruit rather tan sugar, and to make sugarless jam.

4I cant say much about the taste as I mix it with a Protein Shake, what I do think is that it has improved my gut health as I am feeling healthier because it has help stop my constipation.Goes Well With:Protein Shake

Effective
5Looked for Inulin after seeing Michael Moselys programme, Mixes fine in hot drinks, each scoop and a half is 5gms i would start with that and slowly increase dosage after seeing how you go...causes flatulence soon after but doesnt last long maybe an hour or so. What i did notice almost instantly though is it certainly kills hunger pangs and for me it has made my huge craving for sweets vanish, i am used to scoffing biscuits and sweets as i got sweet sugar cravings a lot even after having a main meal, i have noticed that these cravings have almost completely gone since using Inulin. I put this down to it stabilising my blood sugars, i am also hoping my migraines decrease as my sweet tooth often led to Migraines. So far so good i take it once a day with a morning coffee or tea.Goes Well With:Coffee and Tea

How to prepare?
5I dissolve this in my herbal tea.....disappears in 20 seconds. Does dissolving this powder in hot liquid reduce its effect?Goes Well With:Herbal tea

Doesn't mix
1I've tried mixing this the best I can but it genuinely solidifies when adding it to water. Always a clump at the bottom.
