5The consistency was thinner than I expected it to be and also darker but just tastes like what pure peanuts would. It's a nice big tub so it'll last me a while and good value for money Goes Well With:I opted for the classic peanut butter in toast and it was still as good as any other peanut butter on toast

Excellent protein source on Whole Food Plant Based diet
5I received my 1kg pot of peanut butter with coconut oil today. The pot is very large and well filled. It is really cold outside so the content was quite solid but I did take a small bite, it is palatable both flavour and texture wise cold although I think its flavour comes into itself when cooking with it. I am following a WFPB diet and this product fits the ‘non-processed’ requirement well because although the shelling and grinding together of the 2 ingredients is a small amount of processing there are no extra ingredients added and the whole product is used in the case of the peanut and the coconut oil is permitted in small quantities even without the actual coconut flesh. Goes Well With:I made a satay sauce for tofu, just by mixing in some chilli flakes and because I like it fresh ginger and a crushed garlic clove heating over a low temperature with a small amount of water. Traditionally this would be sweetened with brown sugar but depending on whether you are avoiding all sugars or on a vegan regime it is possible to pop in some local honey or coconut cream. I loved it without sweetening and the coconut oil flavour came through perfectly. This product on its own is just the right consistency for spreading on warm oatcakes, chicken, tofu, pork, tempeh or anything toasted
