It does the job
3On its own, I tend to find the casein tasting a bit powdery. Doesn’t really matter if it’s added to water or milk, there’s a kind of bitty-ness to it that detracts. However I tend to add the chocolate flavour to some Greek yoghurt with a splash of milk for a pre-bed protein boost and tasty treat. Give it a go!

Worthwhile
5I have only been using this for a few weeks, however I do feel that it's helping so far. Good to take just before bed and muscle aches are reduced by morning. Vanilla flavour is spot on, mixing isn't great but for sake of a small drink it's not really an issue - just don't make in a shaker, instead put it in a glass or cup and add a bit of milk slowly and mix thoroughly, as I say it'd not 100% but way better than in a shaker.Goes Well With:Milk

4This was easy to make, good taste. Not powdery like others I’ve tried. Also very filling. Does what it says on the tin!

Slow Release Casein
5Been using this product for about a year and its great, it doesn't have the chalky clay taste that many protein drinks have, I can add water to it or additional products such as fruit and it blends well. Great price and great product.

Vanilla Casein protein shake
5I’ve signed up for a 3 month boot camp & they recommended this to achieve my protein targets as I was really struggling to eat sufficient amounts. I reluctantly complied as I don’t like milk drinks & I didn’t expect to enjoy it. I am incredibly pleased to say that it is delicious (I mix it with water) & I’m now hitting my daily protein target easily 😃

5Great protein powder, easy to mix with water or milk, great flavour. Perfect to drink before going to bed or before workout. Highly recommended!!Goes Well With:Milk, water, as an ingredient of pancakes, cakes, smoothies.

5Mix a scoop with 100ml of milk and freeze for 1 hour. Perfect dessert.

Classic Casein
5Looking for a protein that would mix to create a cheese cake like consistency. due to the micellar in casein this product is ideal to use as a thickening agent with either milk, yogurt or cottage cheese. Ideal for the amount of calories and the sustained long lasting slow protein release. Goes Well With:Used with brilliant success with milk, yogurt, blended cottage cheese and cooking.

Flavours nice but horrible texture
2I usually have my whey isolate during the day and thought id give the casein a try. Never had a problem with myprotein products until i tried this! I had the strawberry one and like many others, when you shake the contents a horrible foam appears. Ive try to combat it by adding some milk with the water, it makes it slightly more tolerable. Definitely AVOID this one. Stick with the standard wheyGoes Well With:A bit of milk but i wouldn’t recommend this product
