A Unique Consistency
4I'm a beginner to the whole protein thing. So far I have tried Diet Whey from another provider - nice and thick and mixed week with other bits for a great smoothie. Impact Whey from MyProtein - more of a thin milk consistency which mixes well and tastes nice. Both powders are nice and sort of dense. This Casein powder is different - it is more like a very fine talcum powder, slightly chalky and the slightest squeeze of the bag can disrupt it. It can get everywhere if you're not careful! The drink itself - mixes well and tastes ok. Although I have only tried the strawberry flavour and it may be a little weak on flavour. It feels a bit chalky when drinking. The main thing I've noticed is that it doesn't start mixed for long. I thought I'd shake one up and leave it in the fridge for a while to chill. Within a few minutes it had begun to separate with a thick froth on top. This can also happen within a minute or so after shaking and when drunk the froth stays thick and separated. So... Drink it straight away or re shake. I'm guessing the more foamy consistency is different to the others because it's a different type of protein with a different purpose and use. I tried with milk to see if it was any different - not really. I will order it again but maybe a different flavour.Goes Well With:Water or milk.

Chocolate mystery
3It is like nobody at myprotein has ever tasted chocolate before. I should have known better after previous ‘chocolate’ flavoured purchases. Disgusting. Now I have a full bag of ‘chocolate’ casein to get through.

This stuff is great!
5I always use normal whey after my late night work out! Until now this stuff is brilliant. I always wanted a slow release whey for whilst I’m sleeping. And this does just that! I feel like it’s working as I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now! Chocolate tastes awesome, bit of a problem with mixability but other than that great product! Goes Well With:Water

Good taste, same results as all casein
5Good tasting (strawberry) and mixes well enough, with a bit of foaming which I don't mind. Will buy again.Goes Well With:Milk

5Even it is unflavoured, I really like the texture and the natural flavour of this casein product. I uasully mix it with semi-skimmed milk and ocasioanlly add some honey for sweet taste.Goes Well With:Semi-skimmed milk, honey

Tasty and effective
5I was sceptical after reading some of the reviews but others were really helpful. 1. Don’t shake forever, it isn’t going to mix completely and you’ll just make more foam, couple of shakes and you’re good. 2. Vanilla is awesome, I add a few drops of the toffee flavour to it for an extra taste kick with no extra calories, winner winner. 3. It does have a powdery texture when drinking but I like that so no worries. 4. I mix the recommended amount with about 400ml of water, works well. I love this shake, just enough flavour without being sickly, a great shake to have an hour or so before bed. Goes Well With:Water/toffee flavour

4Slow digesting which makes it good to have just before bed to aid muscle recovery while you sleep. I recommend Vanilla flavour. Tastes great. Mixability could be improved but nonetheless it's a good purchase.Goes Well With:Milk or water
