Casein
5So I tried some casein first time last year by optimum and it tasted rank. I was skeptic of trying MP’s casein but I gave it a go flavourless because I have a few flav drops & like to mix it up each day. It has no difference in taste or texture when you are drinking it from my point of view. The grain of the powder seems to go everywhere and gets stuck on everything & when you mix it with milk it gets a weird sticky texture as if it was cottage cheese but if you mix it well then it will taste amazing. The main purpose of this is to have it digest longer in your body than whey and I can feel like I don’t need to eat food constantly at work when I have this, so it works but not majorly. I only have one scoop so maybe if you have more you will feel more full. Goes Well With:Milk/yogurt

Not bad for the price
4Not bad for the price. Similar to competitive brand casein.

Casein
2This plain unflavoured version is best when making protein pancakes. Ideal when cooking. Drinking the stuff can be a bit difficult unless you’re a fan of chalk. If you are new buy a small quantity and try it first. If you are using it as a before bed shake, go for a flavour. If you think you can add flavour, good luck with that. Goes Well With:Mixing up to make pancakes.

Taste and macros
4Macros for the vanilla are pretty good for this product. The vanilla flavour is standard, probably my go to for most myprotein products just because you can rarely go wrong with it. Also goes really well with some stevia banana drops. It mixes better in a blender rather than with a shaker, it just tastes a bit too gritty for my taste in a shaker. Mixes well in porridge if you use no more than half a scoop. Any more than that and it clumps - might just be that I've had a bad batch but this batch seems to clump too easily compared to other powders I've had (impact whey, little beasts chocolate shake). Goes Well With:Skimmed milk Water Porridge

Decent but taste is a bit off
5Get a flavoured one or mix it with something because it tastes a bit off but overall very good product! I take it in the morning and keeps me full all the way until lunch. Highly reccomend it!

Excellent product
5This mixes really well with water. It is great tasting and massively helps with recovery. Definitely recommend it. The powder is really fine so no matter what protein shaker you use it will mix in well. Goes Well With:Water

Smell & Taste - not good!
2After reading many positive reviews about Micellar Casein I decided to buy the chocolate flavour thinking it would be the same taste as the Impact Whey Protein in chocolate. I was completely shocked to find it wasnt. Impact whey protein in chocolate is very nice, with milk and water. Micellar Casein in chocolate smells odd, and tastes odd with both water or milk. It states to use over one scoop of powder but this makes the shake so thick that i needed a spoon to "eat" it! I dont know how i will ever use up 2.5kgs of this stuff however I wouldnt recommend the chocolate, not sure what the other flavours taste like. Disappointed.

Great recovery suplement
4I got the vanilla flavour mostly mixed it with either almond milk or water. Taste is good some time i blend it a banana for extra texture. I used it a month a long with whey protein, my aminoboost and i see a difference.

Terrible producy
1This protein powder is very fine so it doesn't mix well. It is very chalky (like a waxy maize) and gets all over your clothes. I won't be buying again.Goes Well With:Nothing
