hard to mix
4I have it because pea is a great source of protein but the taste was horrible. Now I'm used to it so it's fine, but it's still difficult to mix.

Terrible taste
2I feel kind of bad giving this a two star rating. It does what it says on the tin, it's Pea protein, packaged well and mixes fine. Good protein content as well. I found the taste unbearable. No matter what I'm mixing it with, the dusty taste comes through. The search goes on for a decent tasting non-whey protein.

Disgusting & unbearable
2Foul smell and even worse taste. Would not recommend and should have listened to other reviews saying this. Bought the unflavoured hoping cacao powder or sweetners would disguise it- wrong, nothing can get rid of this taste.

tastes of dust
3This tastes of brick dust. I find that adding two sweetner tablets (aspartame) makes it taste slightly better. But it still tastes of dust. I'm sure it works, but I MUCH prefer the Whey Vanilla taste.

Read this before buying!
2I’ve been using whey protein regularly and decided to try pea protein because I’ve heard it’s easier to digest. I switched to unflavoured whey because I didn’t like the sickly sweet taste i find most of the sweeteners give, so I thought I’d go for unflavoured pea protein too. This was a mistake! Whereas unflavoured whey doesn’t taste of anything, pea protein still definitely has a taste. It’s like a weird nutty, savoury.. well.. pea.. taste. I mixed it with chocolate powder to try and mask the taste and it tasted weird still. So it’s definitely not a powder for mixing into drinks, it has a distinct savoury taste. I did find that it blended okay and didn’t go frothy like whey protein can, I use almond milk so it had quite a good consistency. You might be able to get past the taste if you down it, but I can’t, so it’s a wasted buy for me. Goes Well With:Not sure...

Great product
5The taste is not perfect, but not as bad as people are moaned in here earlier. I use it because I can't consume dairy products. It's perfect for the purpose and decent price as well.

stay away
1Myprotein has many many great products. This is not one of them.. The taste is so bad i would literally prefer eating someones feet than this. Tried making pancakes and it didn't work out. Cant judge on effectiveness . I through it away. Buy Whey instead..Goes Well With:nothing

Better than expected
5Yes it's minging - but it's an unflavored protein powder made from peas. What did you expect? It has a high protein content with low fat & carb making it ideal to repair muscle without consuming dairy. I mix 50g with 12g of peanut butter powder which actually makes it somewhat drinkable and it goes down pretty quick. It does smell like fish food when opening the bag but I'm not drinking it for the taste or for the smell it's solely to up my protein intake so all in all it does a fantastic job. Goes Well With:12g Peanut Butter Powder

Tastes as expected
5Had to add a review of this product, since it's everything I expected. It's very easy to mix with water. As expected (due to the fact that there's no added taste), it tastes like mashed peas, maybe just a bit stronger. But even though the taste isn't chocolate or anything that good, it's very easy to drink fast (so you don't get the time to taste it) since the texture is quite good. And if you compare it to hemp or rice protein isolates, pea protein isolate is just much better taste and consistency wise. And protein wise I actually prefer peas, and like that it's vegan. I wonder if a teaspoon with powdered peanut butter might make it taste a bit better?Goes Well With:Water - easy, easy

Ride The Storm
3So my original post review was never published on the website but that was somewhat negative after only trying this product for a week. Originally, I couldn't bear the taste of this product but after a few weeks drinking it is a lot more palatable. The taste will require getting used to. The product mixes well in a blender and in a shaker, however, I would strongly advise using 2 scoops as it will just become thick cake mixture. Great amino acid profile and provides a great hit of protein whenever needed. You should really know the risk of buying unflavoured protein powder as it is not for everyone. However, if you don't want artificial sweetners and other various chemicals in your shakes then this is a great buy. Goes Well With:Blended banana
