Pea Protein Isolate Strawberry
2I gave this a go as I'm avoiding dairy/whey. I wish I hadn't. It has an awful aftertaste and the texture is disgusting - almost gritty.

Soy vanilla protein
5One of the best protein powders going! One of my go to products alongside the vegan blends and pea protein. I’ll never stop buying MyProtein powders as they are by far the best I’ve had!

Great tasting extremely value-conscious source of protein
5I normally use Whey Isolate but decided to give Pea Isolate a try as it's almost 50% of the cost of my regular supplement. The powder is a lot finer than Whey, but mixes quite thick and gritty. I normally mix with water which tends to easily show if a powder becomes gritty. I've got used to it and don't mind it at all. It's filling and goes AMAZINGLY in foods such as porridge or pancakes and really thickens them up.Goes Well With:Milk or milk-alternatives, porridge, pancakes.

Like a fine moss, it grows on you.
5After using this for 3 months I feel I have a rounded opinion of the taste. I prefer unflavoured to keep things simple though initially, the taste was quite noticeable and took a little time to get used to. Now I find that I quite enjoy it, as well as the slightly grainy texture, and with the right balance of fruits, I find it's nicely complimentary. So whilst I really like this one, hence the 5 stars, I've acknowledged the work required to get there, as well as the potential texture issue for some, by giving 4 stars to the remaining attributes. As for effectiveness, I've only just started my fitness journey so can't say - but 80g of protein per 100g is pretty great. I might move over to brown rice protein, for the lower cost and less fat content, once I'm through my current 2.5kg bag.Goes Well With:My smoothie preference for this is: Spinach, grapes, blueberries, mango, passion fruit, apples, apple juice, water, ginger, milled flax, oats and chia, and some spirulina.

Great Protein
5Have been taking this protein for a few months now as whey doesn't sit well in my stomach and seems to cause spots. Pea protein isolate has been easy on my stomach, froths up a little bit in shaker but still easy to drink.

As a vegan it helps me reach my 150g per day protein goal
4If at the end of the day I havent met my protein goals on cronometer, I mix this with 200ml unsweetened soya milk for a quick low cal (under 200), 27g of protein, along with some flavoured 0 cal flavoured sweetener and ice - all done in the blender. I also make a morning smoothie with berries, flaxseed etc for a 34g protein shake. Its a bit powdery so def needs done in blender. Only downside - I need an amino acid count for my macro goals - please add this to the ingredients!
