Surprisingly good taste and mixibilty
5At first this protein (strawberry flavour) did take some getting used to, there is an undertaste which is hard to describe but not unpleasant, and the texture is different to whey for example I find this is really nice in a shake if you have 2 scoops and 300-500ml of water so it isn’t watered down and is thicker/creamier texture, sometimes it might mix a bit difficult but if you have a shaker with a ball in it will prevent this I added one scoop of bcaas this made it mix really well each time This is really nice mixed with plain yogurt with fruit and stirred, makes an extra thick mouse type pudding like eating cement but niceGoes Well With:In a shake with bcaas Mixed into yogurt and fruit

Pea Protein Isolate Strawberry
2I gave this a go as I'm avoiding dairy/whey. I wish I hadn't. It has an awful aftertaste and the texture is disgusting - almost gritty.

Soy vanilla protein
5One of the best protein powders going! One of my go to products alongside the vegan blends and pea protein. I’ll never stop buying MyProtein powders as they are by far the best I’ve had!

Great tasting extremely value-conscious source of protein
5I normally use Whey Isolate but decided to give Pea Isolate a try as it's almost 50% of the cost of my regular supplement. The powder is a lot finer than Whey, but mixes quite thick and gritty. I normally mix with water which tends to easily show if a powder becomes gritty. I've got used to it and don't mind it at all. It's filling and goes AMAZINGLY in foods such as porridge or pancakes and really thickens them up.Goes Well With:Milk or milk-alternatives, porridge, pancakes.

Like a fine moss, it grows on you.
5After using this for 3 months I feel I have a rounded opinion of the taste. I prefer unflavoured to keep things simple though initially, the taste was quite noticeable and took a little time to get used to. Now I find that I quite enjoy it, as well as the slightly grainy texture, and with the right balance of fruits, I find it's nicely complimentary. So whilst I really like this one, hence the 5 stars, I've acknowledged the work required to get there, as well as the potential texture issue for some, by giving 4 stars to the remaining attributes. As for effectiveness, I've only just started my fitness journey so can't say - but 80g of protein per 100g is pretty great. I might move over to brown rice protein, for the lower cost and less fat content, once I'm through my current 2.5kg bag.Goes Well With:My smoothie preference for this is: Spinach, grapes, blueberries, mango, passion fruit, apples, apple juice, water, ginger, milled flax, oats and chia, and some spirulina.
