Sceptical at first but..
4So whatever I buy I always do my research and read endless reviews. There were so many good reviews but really they just want to stick their discount code all over it which is getting rather frustrating as it's taking over reviews from people like me and you. So this mix. Tastes good and I really enjoyed eating these! You will need a good quality pan unlike mine. It's sticks to the service very easily so a decent non stick pan is a must. Overall the high protein and such low carbs and sugars etc means this is now a must buy for myself because its good for breakfast or when you want a desert which isn't loaded with sugars and fat. Goes Well With:Peanut butter. I use protein PB from Sainsburys and melt a table spoon in the microwave then pour it over the pancakes.

Protein Pancakes - Golden Syrup
1These are gross - love the Whey Protein, so thought I would give the pancakes a go and I must admit they are literally vile. Really rubbery and artificial taste/texture. Would not recommend. However - If you have not tried the "Impact Whey Protein" please do - Chocolate Brownie, Cookies and Cream and Vanilla are all so yummy, with water and a little milk! Goes Well With:Whey - Milk/Almond Milk/Cold Water

Not what I expected
3Having seen protein pancakes all over Instagram, I thought I would give these a try to see if I could add a new protein-rich dish to my breakfast repertoire. The mix came earlier than expected in the post, which was great. I found that the mixture didn't really combine very well with water; it was a little easier when I used a whisk but still didn't fully combine. When I came to make the pancake, I had to make a large one as it spread out quickly in the pan (this might have been because I didn't measure the water - instead I went off consistency). I cooked it on one side at a low-medium heat and turned it over when the top was starting to cook. The pancake came out a lovely golden brown colour, but the texture was more like an egg-white omelette than a pancake. That's fine, it just wasn't what I was expecting based on the photographs. Taste-wise, I had chosen the maple syrup flavour and the pancake does indeed taste of maple syrup, albeit an artificial flavour. If you're someone who has a sweet tooth but needs to watch their sugar intake, these aren't a bad option, but don't expect the pancakes you're used to as you will be disappointed.Goes Well With:Chopped banana

Awful tasting
2Bought this & used for the first time last week, horrendous, tastes fake sweetnner at a maximum level, even my little girl spat it out. Definitely wasted my money on this one!

Who doesn't like Pancakes?
4I purchased the golden syrup flavour pancake mix - it is delicious however it is quite sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). Really easy to make/follow instructions. I would have given 5 stars, however it does taste slightly "eggy", but I would certainly recommend - they make an awesome weekend breakfast!Goes Well With:I recommend having them with greek yoghurt & berries which takes away some of the sweetness.

Great substitute for the real thing
5They mix really well flavour is nice though they are a bit chewey. I'd buy them againGoes Well With:The zero sugar syrup i bought maple flavour

3The pancake mix can make up to 4 good size pancakes, really airy. Unfortunately I found the mix tasted really artificial and so didn't really enjoy them. Each to their own Goes Well With:Banana and Nutella
