Very very tasty
5I love the fact that it tends to thicken the mixture, it’s very filling and has an incredible flavour. Love the strawberries and cream flavour. Goes Well With:Soy milk or soy yogurt.

Tastes like cardboard and doesn't mix
2I bought 3 of thr vegan products. Chocolate and vanilla protein isolate flavours. They taste like cardboard. Terrible. Doesn't mix well in porridge at all. Again turns to cardboard. Definitely not buying again. Only put 2 star as its non dairy and wheat. Goes Well With:Nothing

Good Mix, Tastes alright
4I bought the strawberry flavour and it’s really nice, you have to mix it with a fair amount of liquid to get rid of the powdery-ness but otherwise mixes fine. I really like it in a smoothie with other fruits (including strawberries!) because sometimes I can taste the artificial sweetener and that counteracts it - I’m sure it could work with anything naturally sweet. It helps with recovery time, I’ve not used it for very long but it’s been successful in preventing really bad muscle ache and any aches have gone in a day. However, soy can cause bloating (it contains phytoestrogens which mimic oestrogen, causing the body to bloat) so if you aren’t bothered then go ahead, but the bloat can be uncomfortable so it really depends on how your body reacts to it. Otherwise, it’s nice!Goes Well With:Other naturally sweet ingredients e.g strawberries, blueberries, possibly banana

Un-drinkable
2If you follow the instructions on the pack of mixing 1 1/2 scoops with 250 ml of water, what you’ll end up with is a cake...not a drink. In order to drink 1 1/2 scoops worth (30g of protein) you’ll need 1 1/2 pints of water! So only buy this product if you’re not in any hurry to drink it!Goes Well With:Hours of spare time and excessive amounts of water

Mixes with.. Nothing.
1I’ve tried several products from MyProtein and although I am not vegan or lactose intolerant, I have been considering reducing the amount of dairy products for a while as I feel it makes me break out. Once I finished my previous bag of protein I was keen to start on this. Chocolate smooth flavour because I’ve got quite a sweet tooth so hoping it curbs my after workout sugar cravings. Couldn’t wait to try it. I have always taken protein with almond milk but due to the reviews on here I chose soya milk as other reviews said it was hard to mix when with almond milk. First time I added the scoop to the milk, shook for ages and it still tasted very chalky. Next time I tried with soya milk and 2 spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt as I read online to try a creamier base in order to prevent chalkiness. - Sadly it was still the same. Further reading online suggested to try mixing it with a warmer base, I tried both hot milk and also a small amount hot water. I’ve also added it to oats and various other things like I would with other proteins I’ve previously bought. Sadly it’s always the same, rather clumpy, never mixes well and if it does mix theres a horrible aftertaste of chalkiness. It’s such a shame as I had hoped this would be my forever product, delivering a good amount of protein and being vegan. The flavour is beyond nice but it’s still makes it so difficult to drink because it doesn’t mix with anything. Back to the drawing board and now looking for other recommendations... Goes Well With:Not very much!

Great if you can’t take whey
5I stopped taking whey protein shakes for the last few years as they just didn’t agree with my stomach at all and gave me pretty bad side effects...I decided to get back on the wagon recently since doing more strength training and give a soy version a try. Not only does it taste nice (chocolate) but it hasn’t made my stomach bad at all and I have been taking one daily sometimes two for over a week now. I will definitely be sticking to these now Goes Well With:Oatly milk

Not good.
1I love MyProtein and have never had problems but I’m so disappointed with this product. It’s so thick and tastes disgusting. It’s made my IBS worse, every time I drink it my stomach goes mad and I feel ill. I won’t be buying this one again.

Soy Isolate Vanilla
4I mix this with milk and add it to my cereal in the morning. It tastes fine and is a cost effective alternative to the protein cereals.

Vegan Soy Protein
5Purchased as wanted to try and vegan protein after watching game changes, can’t fault the flavour of the vanilla. Mixes well and hard to tell the difference between soy and whey protein once mixed. Will be purchasing again.Goes Well With:Oat milk, peanut butter, chia seeds, milled linseed & banana.. Great lunch time smoothie.
