Wouldn’t recommend
1I bought the Chocolate Smooth flavour and it was horrible. Just tasted of sweetener with a hint of chocolate. I’ve tried adding shots of coffee or flavourings but the taste was still the same. It wasn’t easy to mix with liquids either. To get the consistency of a normal protein shake I would have had to add about 600ml liquid to a scoop of protein. If you followed the instructions on the bag you would get a thick sludge. Wasn’t able to finish the bag because it was that bad.

FLAVOUR HAS CHANGED
1Can vouch for the other reviews on here saying that the vanilla flavour has changed to the point it is inedible!!! I also feel the consistency has changed? I L O V E (d) the this powder and ordered the vanilla flavour multiple times (and grew to love it so much that I now feel lost without it). But now im super put off ordering anything in case the situation is the same... whats up MyProtein have you changed the recipe or????! Now left with a 500g of off-tasting powder that I can't even convince my housemates to have. In the bin it goes. Really disappointed as I used to be the biggest advocate for this product.

Salted caramel
4I found this powder to be very good! Decent amount of protein per serving and it’s tastes great, Takes a bit of mixing though! It dose get quite thick so I normally used quite a bit of liquid, 200ml of plant milk and a splash of water. Goes Well With:Soy milk

great product, but too much plastic waste
4As a severely lactose intolerant person I can’t stomach whey protein at all, but the vegan versions from competing brands tend to be either overpriced or taste horrible. Not the case with this product! The unflavoured one is not very good on its own, but the chocolate and strawberry ones are absolutely delicious and require no adding flavourings like berries or fruit (which would defeat the point, if you’re trying to cut down carbs). My only BIG minus is getting a new plastic scoop in each bag… this is very wasteful as it creates so much plastic waste. Hopefully you will introduce an option on the website to opt out of getting one in the near future. Otherwise really love the product & will return to try out all the flavours.Goes Well With:vegan milks

Changed Flavour
3I have been buying the vanilla soy protein isolate for a while now and absolutely loved it but I bought a bag the other day and it is AWFUL! It doesn’t taste like vanilla at all, I’m very glad when I bought it they only had a 500g bag in stock because I am not sure I will even be able to finish that! However on a slightly more positive note the salted caramel protein is delicious and works really well in oats!

Soy Protein Isolate
1Absolutely vile! I have used this for years and particularly enjoyed the strawberry and cream flavour, however having initially been told it would be back in stock within 10 days, I checked again to be told that although it hasn’t been discontinued, they don’t know when the best stock will be. I decided to try the Natural Strawberry and the Salted Caramel. I mix this with porridge oats and hot water and at first the salted caramel tasted quite nice, but the texture was gloopy and sticky. Before I got to the end of it it was far too sickly. I then tried the Natural Strawberry the following day and really struggled to get through it - so sweet but like artificial. Bought these in the 500g as wasn’t sure how it would taste given the reviews - good job as I don’t think I can stomach much more of it! Bring back the original formula and in strawberry and cream! Going to lose a lot of customers with this vile stuff!

Changed again
3I've been buying this for years and the recipe has certainly changed this time around. Bought a 2.5kg back cos I knew I liked it and really enjoyed the flavour in smoothies. Now when I add it I can barely taste my fruit etc cos this is so overpowering and not enjoyable like before. Please change back to whatever it was beforeGoes Well With:Big gulps

5best purchase ever! the taste is not artificial at all, blends well and i don't have anything else to say, definitely i will re-order this!!Goes Well With:cold coffee, almond/soy milk

1Trying to go gluten and dairy free and increase protein with pcos, this was vile it’s like wall paper paste I used less of a scoop as advised still awful 😩 even blended in a blender and mixed with more water!

Best soy flavour so far
5Not usually one to go for strawberries and cream but thought I might give it a go. This is by far the best flavour I have tried with soy protein - it mixes really well, texture is quite nice and foamy (when mixed with water - haven’t tried anything else), flavour is not overly artificial. I would recommend!
