Old formula was way better.
2I have been using the Soy Protein Isolate for over a year (strawberry, vanilla) and it is my favourite one. When I say that they reformulated it, I was nervous because I didn't want it to become worse. Unfortunately, the new formula is not even half as good as the old formula. It doesn't go as thick when I mix it, and the taste is lacking compared to the old formula. Very disappointed, might have to look for a new vegan protein as this one just doesn't cut it for me.Goes Well With:A lot of Flavdrops to mask the taste.

Don’t know what the fuss is about?
4I was quite sceptical when buying this product because of the mixed reviews but I really don’t know what the fuss is about the taste! It tastes like brownie batter and goes really well with soy milk. If there were any downsides it would be that the texture isn’t quite as smooth as regular whey protein and there are still a few small lumps at the bottom after mixing, but really isn’t anything to worry about. This is a great product for anyone that is intolerant to whey/lactose or is just looking for a good alternative.Goes Well With:Soy milk

NICEST VEGAN PROTEIN EVER
5O M G. The new salted caramel flavour is AMAZING!!!!! Myprotein have finally brought out flavours which are nicer than any other protein I have ever tried. It is sweet but it is so good, This one beats VivoLife by FAR. If you are struggling to find vegan protein that tastes nice then look no further. Tip - Blend in a nutribullet to make sure it is a smooth texture. Goes Well With:500ml of plant based milk - I used unsweetened almond for my macros.

Like thick blended caramel tofu
2Sadly this was the first product by myprotein that disappointed me, and especially sad as started making steps from vegetarian to vegan diet. Imagine sticking tofu in a blender, then add thick caramel syrup, and giving it a whizz... ugh. My face turned in on itself drinking it. The texture was way way too thick and rich and gloopy, it had to drink it in shots alternating with water.

First purchase tasted a lot different to my second purchase!
3I purchased the chocolate smooth protein powder a few months back to give it a try. I was in love with it. I put it in my porridge every morning. As I was running low I recently purchased the 2.5kg bag. I am soooo disappointed. It tastes COMPLETELY different to the one I got a couple of months ago. It has such a chemical taste to it die to all the artificial sweeteners. This is such a shame considering I was so in love with it the first time round.

Don't buy
1I used to buy this product every month, but they have now changed the recipe and it tastes and smells like cheese. It made me physically sick after drinking. Unless they change the recipe back I really recommend avoiding this.

Tasted much better before
1The vanilla flavour was my absolute favourite protein powder, however I bought a 2.5kg bag the other day to discover the recipe had been changed. It now tastes and smells awful, and I've wasted a lot of money on such a big bag. I wish they had left the recipe alone, it was great how it was:(
