Frothy, clumpy chalk
1It is a weird one. Can't think of anything that it tastes like. It is almost as if MyProtein have created a new element. I guess the closest thing would be chalk. Nothing really masks the flavour, or lack of flavour. I've tried flavourings, huel booster flavouring. The flavour might be somehow linked to the texture. The texture is so odd as well. I just seems to stick to any surface it attaches it self too. Particularity the shake bottle. It just languishes down at the bottom requiring a lot of water to actually get it to mix. But no matter how much water you put in the taste is always there. It sticks in your throat and back of tongue after drinking. Then there is the frothing. It froths so much. And it froths more when you add more water, but you need to add more water otherwise you'd have to eat the shake with a spoon. And the thought of that is terrifying.Goes Well With:Nothing. It is crazy. I'd say buy a sample pack to try this. You need to try it at least once to truly understand how bizarre it is.

Revolting
1As a long-standing loyal customer of MyProtein, I was concerned at the recent flavour changes especially having read some of the reviews, but ordered anyway. Ouch! The reviews were right, this is FOUL. Heavily over-sweetened which does little to disguise the appalling cheap "chocolatey" flavour. Who on earth authorised this to be the final launched product. It is so far below the standard of previous MyProtein flavours, one can only assume it wasn't the same employee. And why has the gorgeous Vanilla flavour been scrapped? It was sublime! Will need to source my vegan protein elsewhere if this is the best I can expect going forwards. Horrendous! Goes Well With:putting straight in the bin.

New Recipe is Awful
1Had bought the vegan blend smooth protein previously a few times and loved it. One of the best vegan protein blends I had ever tried. Tried to buy it again and chocolate was out of stock so bought Coffee and Walnut. This is the new blend and it is absolutely disgusting. The flavour is sickeningly sweet and the new blend makes me feel ill. MyProtein, PLEASE bring back the old formula.Goes Well With:nothing

Versatile product
5I enjoy using this product ,I find it easy to use, &tasty . I love mixing it with coconut milk frown banana and oats for breakfast, I also have a serving in with coconut yogurt I’ve found it great to add to vegan ice cream and energy bars . Great versatility Goes Well With:Coconut milk Yogurt Homemade energy bars

Avoid flavoured powders
1I have bought this brand's unflavoured pea & vegan blend protein powder in the past and found they mix well and taste fine. I just received an order for the chocolate flavoured vegan blend and the flavours added to it has made it undrinkable for me. Even diluted in a lot of water/milk this stuff tastes like a mouthful of artificial sweetener. Probably should have bought a test sample before ordering a kilo of this stuff.

Not impressed
2So after reading through the mix bag of reviews, I was a bit hesitant to purchase this product but went ahead with it in the end. And quite honestly I’m quite annoyed with myself. I chose the banana flavour and was really looking forward to receiving it, especially since I used to love the banana cream whey protein before I went vegan. It has the slightest banana taste but other than that, it’s very chemical-like. Mixability is alright, however I seem to get more froth as opposed to liquid and it seems to be the froth that tastes the worst. I’m sorry to leave a bad review MyProtein, but I’m afraid to say the majority of your consumers are correct in saying something is fundamentally wrong with this blend and needs changing (or reverting back to its previous version) ASAP! I’ll just have to work my way through the 2.5Kg bag and hope something new is developed by the time I’m finished.Goes Well With:Soya milk (but still tastes quite poor)

Not grwat
1Really wish I had read the reviews on this product before buying it. I, like a lot of people, really liked the old product. The texture was perfect and the taste was lovely. This new formula not so much. I bought the chocolate and it’s so gritty and leaves a horrible aftertaste. Initially tried it with water and it was unbearable. Tried mixing it with porridge and lactose free milk and it’s just as bad. Please use the old formula!

Disappointing
1Having problems taking whey protein I thought I’d give this a go, very disappointing doesn’t blend well and very bitty , won’t be buying this again.

Do not buy!
1Bought 2.5kg of the banana mix and now I want to die. Honestly the worst mixing, worst tasting protein I've ever bought. Not sure why they changed from their old protein that mixed well in to this, but it's the worst choice they've ever made. Have also tried the coffee walnut flavour and that doesn't mix well either. Buy vegan from elsewhere... Goes Well With:regret.
