Best Vegan Protein
5These powders have to be the best vegan protein I've tried for flavour and consistency. I've tried chocolate, banana, strawberry and turmeric latte and enjoyed all of them. Great on macros too. Is best mixed with plant milk rather than with water as the latter gives a more grainy consistency.

Ok in oatmeal
4Does it work? Yep, it is an ok source of protein, no lactose for sure. Does it blend? It did not with cold/room temperature liquids for me (water, almond and soy drinks). Tried a few times and it still felt like protein was just there in the drink but kinda as a separate thing anyway. Hence the 'earthy/sandy taste' that is more about the texture to me. But it does work surprisingly well in oatmeal. Just needs some boiling water, good mixing and rest for a few minutes. It does change its texture, so I prefer to blend it 1:5 table spoons of oats, otherwise it reminds me of instant mashed potatoes. Does it taste good? Tried Banana and Strawberry. And as for my taste both are quite artificial. Though strawberry is slightly better and goes just fine topped with a couple of spoons of preferred yoghurt and fresh berries. Goes Well With:Oats, cooking

Good protein source
4I know others have complained about the sawdust texture and the taste, but I've tried the Strawberry, Chocolate and Coffee and Walnut flavours and I've been pleasantly surprised. As a student on a budget, myprotein is literally a lifesaver and I've built lots of muscle this year using it (alongside a healthy balanced vegan diet of course). I love buying the vegan blend in bulk because it lasts ages and I love that it doesn't have any additives and has no sugar added. For those of us that can't afford the more expensive brands, I honestly love it mixed in my soy yogurt, in smoothies, in my oats, etc. I don't tend to have it on it's own, so I'd recommend that those that have had trouble mixing it try adding it to smoothies or blending it - that might solve the problem. My only criticism is that the chocolate one could be more chocolate-y, but I just add cocoa powder :) Goes Well With:Oats, smoothies, soy yogurt and fresh fruit....

vegan protein
4This is a lot better texture than I was expecting and flavor is a lot better, it mixes well initially but if you leave it for 5 mins it kinda turns to a thick consistency so I would say drink it straight away and I got the chocolate flavor but I didn't find it very chocolatey so more cocoa would be nice I added in my own, but in general its a really good vegan powder so would recommend. I add berries to mine and im going to add peanut butter too to see what its like.

Sandy mix
2I’ve never really understood this mix... it’s good because it doesn’t upset my stomach and the new flavours are a great touch, as the non flavoured protein was horrid! But these mixes are very gritty, it’s annoying as the dairy comparisons aren’t. I applaud myprotein for its continued development of this product. And I hope they can continue to develop it till it’s taste, quality and mix-ability is as good if not better than the dairy mixes. 10/10 for effort and continued development but still some ways to go. Goes Well With:Almond, cashews milks the thicker consistency of the milk ads to the mix and takes away some of that gritty taste.

4Both strawberry and chocolate mix decently with almond milk in my opinion. Also the strawberry tastes like angel delight which is great!Goes Well With:Almond milk

Some good, some bland...
4The chocolate is very bland, needs a heaping tsp of cocoa added to have any flavour. The coffee walnut & turmeric latte flavours are lovely though, neat or mixed with greens & avo for a green smoothie. No digestive issues with the 2 legume blend either, much preferred to the hemp & rice in the previous blend nutritionally & digestively. More flavours please- salted caramel would be amazing 😉

My First Vegan Protein Powder - I like it
5I have bought the coffee walnut flavoured version and I really like it. It is also my first plant-based protein powder. I have always used whey protein before, usually whey isolate. My last was a bag of 5kg of MP Whey Protein Isolate, strawberry cream flavours - delicious, but so is this vegan blend. I know for sure that I will continue buying plant-based protein from now on if it's so good. There are two isolate types of protein in this blend, and from what I understand pea protein is a complete protein, so I have no good reason not to put down the dairy for a more sustainable source of protein. Because I got a flavoured version, the amount of actual protein per 100g of powder is 75g, which is pretty good. Still, I would like to have more, so I will go for the unflavoured version next time which presumably has 81g of actual protein.Goes Well With:Water, milk, porridge, protein pancakes, mug cake, etc.
