Artificial sweeteners
4The jury is very much out on any artificial sweeteners and I would rather they were left out. I really don’t need my shakes sweet.Goes Well With:A mixture of nut and veg powders, milled flax and soluble fibres.

Pretty nasty (strawberry)
1Don't buy this. 1. It tastes weird and nasty (maybe other flavours are better), somewhat chemical after taste. 2. Doesn't mix with water really, like drinking wet powder. 3. Worst of all it makes you feel heavy and bloated for hours, and not in a good, satiated way. I should have read the reviews before buying, but if you read this and save yourself some cash, I'll be happy.Goes Well With:Not water or almond milk, that's for sure.

Powdery.
1Powdery not good mixing with water, had little bits not mixed well even after blending and shaking throughly.

Love it!
5Really please with this protein. I struggle with the taste and texture of normal whey proteins, and so find this lovely and silky smooth. The taste is great, it's not too strong and doesn't taste overly artificial. I use it with out, or blend with ice and soya milk sometimes.Goes Well With:Oats

Honest review v whey protein
3So, this was on offer and after years of drinking whey protein I decided it was time for a change and gave it a go. I went for a 2.5kg bag in strawberry. Here’s my honest review. Taste - on first taste it was not very nice but it’s grown on me. It’s different to the whey and not as sweet. Kind of a grainy taste. Nothing wrong with the taste in my opinion but not as nice as the whey. I would give it 3.5/5. Mixability - I mix it using a shaker, both the metal mixing ball and the plastic gauze kind of shakers. Give it a good shake and it mixes fine, no lumps. It froths more than the whey and creates a thicker shake so you need more water to produce the same consistency. I would say twice as much water. The biggest issue is the powder just makes such a mess when you get a scoop out as it sticks to everything - hands, sleeves etc. it’s just very annoying having to hoover up after making every shake. You also need to give your shaker a good few rinses to use it again as it leaves a residue in the inside of the shaker. O haven’t mixed it with milk but I would guess it would be very thick, probably too thick. It was good to try but I personally won’t be buying it again. The money saved was not worth the hassle. I’ll Stick to the whey. Goes Well With:10 litres of water per shake and a Dyson.

Exactly what it says on the tin
5This tastes exactly like I'd expect something made of just dried peas and broad beans to taste I.e. dried peas and beans. Whilst it's processed to an extent it gives me a quick on the go plant protein boost without the ultra processed gums, artificial flavourings and emulsifiers. I'm hitting my training goals without consuming a load of junk. Addiction to artificial textures and flavours my be doing more harm than good.

Taste like medicine
1This powder tastes like medicine, and even a good one at that, Not recommending at all. I’m doubting whether I’ll even be able to finish the 500 grams I ordered.
