My favourite shirataki.... and no smell!
5I prefer buying my shirataki noodles from MyProtein as they come in smaller portions, are smell-free and cheaper. Traditional brand shirataki noodles have a slightly fishy-like smell and always come in 200g portions which are quite too much for me. With these MyProtein shirataki, there's no need for it to be soaked in water for the smell to go away. You can just pour out the liquid, rinse it a bit and it goes straight into the pan! This is now a staple in my home. This review goes the same for the rest of the Zero noodles. Goes Well With:Goes with pasta, tinned mackerel in spicy tomato sauce. And I've also used it to make oriental noodle dishes... even Filipino pancit!

Couldn’t live without
5Honestly the best thing if you are on low carb diet and love pasta! The best for Keto as it is virtually nothing on your macros just a few cals! Just have to mix with a sauce wouldn’t recommend to eat them on their own. Just wash for 2 mins and the fishy smell is gone and you can not taste it at all! Please never discontinue this product as I wouldn’t know what to do!Goes Well With:Any sauce and meat

Awful texture
1Bought these as was trying to cut down carbs, and they were an absolute disappointment. Very slimy and just a horrible texture overall. They have no taste, but I found the sauce I ate them with slipped off the noddles as I was eating it.

Skeptical but pleasantly surprised!
5I have tried shirataki noodles before and hated them. The texture was horrible and I never went back to them. However, I got these noodles as they were on sale during cyber week and decided to give them another chance. I rinsed the noodles and then boiled them for about 2 minutes, got rid of the liquid and then pan fried it for another 2-5 mins until they were squeaking against the pan. I made a simple noodle stir fry with vegetables and a soy/tamari sauce and tossed the noodles in then coated them in the sauce. I thought I was going to hate it but it actually came out pretty good! The texture isn't as bad as I thought it was, it's a bit like enoki mushrooms when they're chewy. Definitely better than I thought it would be. I would purchase it again. I would say though, 100g packs are really small, you definitely need about 2 packs for a good and filling meal.

Weirdly tough
2Not sure I'd recommend it. It's kind of got an 'over cooked squid' thing going on in terms of texture. Only superficially like pasta. Nowhere near as satisfying as pasta in any way.

Great Replacement
4I had this with a pasta sauce, turkey mince and veg and is a great replacement for pasta! Bulked out the meal. Need to have some sauce with them as are a little chewy without, and also don't look very appetizing. Do recommend, and will be ordering again. Goes Well With:Pasta sauce.

Great Value
5I have ordered these twice and think they are a great low carb alternative. If you drain, lightly coat and soak in soy sauce/liquid amino's they have great neutral flavour. They a great with pesto and stir-frys etc. This is the best source for price and volume and delivery is always so prompt!
